ACCP Professional Level III Examinations
Multipart Examination
Successful ACCP Professional Level III certification candidates must complete the following four examinations:
Basic Examination
The multiple choice ACCP Professional Level III NDT Basic exam from
the ASNT Level III program covers basics of ten NDT methods, SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT
CP-189, plus materials, fabrication, and production technology.
Method Examination
These are the same method exams as in the ASNT Level III certification program and are written from the topical outlines listed in SNT-TC-1A.
Procedure Preparation Examination
In the procedure preparation exam, candidates prepare an NDT procedure to meet
the requirements of a supplied code.
Practical Examination
ACCP Professional Level III candidates must successfully complete a combination practical which covers all techniques within the method.
The table below lists each examination now available under the ACCP Professional Level III certification program. For certification in any method, candidates must successfully complete each of the three written examinations and the practical examination.
