Research Awards for Innovation and Sustained Excellence brochure (PDF)

This award was established to recognize highly distinguished individual breakthroughs in research in NDT. No more than one such award may be given in any calendar year and need not be given if there are no outstanding candidates nominated for the award. The awardee will present an overview lecture of the breakthrough at the Annual Research Symposium and receive an appropriate award, as established by the ASNT Research Council.

Eligibility Requirements	Individual breakthrough in NDT/NDE research made within past five years from nomination date
Form of Award	Citation for presentation at Annual Research Symposium; one award per year
Application Notices Out	1 May
Application Deadline	1 September
Materials Submitted	Letter, curriculum vitae, two supporting letters
Winner Announced	After Fall Conference
Award Received	Spring
