Tutorial Citation
In view of the important role of education in advancing the purpose
of ASNT, the Tutorial Citation gives recognition to outstanding contributors
to the field of NDT education.
Recipients of the citation are selected for their accomplishments in
or furtherance of educational activities designed to increase the depth
and breadth of scientific, engineering and technical knowledge in the
field of NDT. Selection is based on originality, organization, technical
content, methods and practical usefulness of educational activities
during the period of January through December of the preceding year.
The citation is presented to the recipient during the ASNT Fall Conference.
No more than one such award may be made in a single year.
If, in the opinion of the Awards Committee, no one qualifies for the
Tutorial Citation, the committee has the privilege of not conferring
the citation for that year.
