CEU Students

Recertification Info

ASNT CEUs can be used as points for recertification in ASNT's Level III certification program. See that section for more details.

Where to get ASNT CEUs

ASNT issues CEUs in three ways:

ASNT Refresher Courses

CEUs are granted to students who successfully complete ASNT Refresher Courses. CEU certificates are issued at the conclusion of each course. The CEU fee is included with the Refresher Course tuition.

ASNT Conferences

ASNT grants CEUs for completion of Short Courses and Post-Conference Seminars held twice each year at ASNT's Spring Conference and Fall Conference.

Attendees must complete the forms provided by the instructor. ASNT will mail CEU certificates to attendees within 4 weeks. The CEU fee is included with the Short Course or Post-Conference Seminar registration fee.

Third Party Courses

ASNT CEUs can be issued by any ASNT Section or third party individual or organization for completion of NDT courses pre-approved by ASNT.

Though the specific procedure varies from course to course, generally students must complete a form provided by the instructor and mail it to ASNT with the CEU fee. ASNT will mail CEU certificates to attendees within 4 weeks.
