Figure 5 - Horizontal X-ray image of aluminum weld, taken at a height of 16 mm (0.63 in.) above the bottom of the weld. A pore is located in the upper left side of the weld area. Tungsten inclusions are also visible at this level.

Figure 6 - A vertical X-ray image taken through the pore shows the vertical image of the pore. The dimensions of the pore, height and diameter can be measured with high precision.
