Cleaning Padded Nylon
Instrument Cases

Few people ever clean padded nylon instrument cases but probably would if they knew just how easy it is.  Brush on any good waterless hand cleaner, inside and outside the case.  If absorbed too quickly, reapply promptly and let sit in a plastic grocery bag overnight to slow evaporation. Then hose down the next day with the garden hose with nozzle attached. Some lanolin will be left on as a residue, which is okay. It will help further cut dirt on the next cleaning and will also keep the nylon soft. Repeat if necessary.  Sorry, this won’t remove paint!
