ASNT Announces Recipients of Three Recognitions

The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) is pleased to announce the recipients of three recognitions: the Advancement of Women in NDT Recognition, the Advancement of Active Military and Veterans in NDT Recognition, and the Charles N. Sherlock Meritorious Service Award. 

The list of 2021 – 2022 award winners follow:

Advancement of Women in NDT Recognition

ASNT is proud to bestow the Advancement of Women in NDT Recognition to Sarah M. White. White is being recognized for encouraging women to enter and thrive in the field of NDT, either through the creation and/or implementation of programs that provide educational and/or career advancement opportunities in NDT that may not otherwise be available to women.

Advancement of Active Military and Veterans in NDT

The Advancement of Active Military and Veterans in NDT Recognition is presented to an ASNT member who encourages Active Military and Veterans to enter and thrive in the field of NDT. The recognition is earned either through the creation and implementation of educational and career advancement programs or by leading by example to show Active Military and Veterans that they can have a career in NDT and significantly contribute to NDT and ASNT and to creating a safer world. This year’s winner is Megan Davey.

Charles N. Sherlock Meritorious Service Award

Jerry Fulin is the recipient of the Charles N. Sherlock Meritorious Service Award, which is presented in recognition for his outstanding voluntary service to the Society,

“We are very excited to acknowledge these award winners,” said ASNT Executive Director Neal Couture. “These individuals have committed themselves to the betterment of the field of NDT and to the Society.”
