The Outreach Division is responsible for supporting outreach efforts on the international, national, regional, and local levels. All efforts within this division will be closely coordinated with ISC staff. Outreach activities include, but are not limited, to supporting the following areas: STEM initiatives, educational campaigns, and career awareness.
The Military Outreach Committee establishes outreach programs to connect, mentor, and assist our active duty military personnel, veterans, and retirees in the career of NDT. They also define and identify avenues to help ASNT NDT/NDI military professionals interface with the civilian industry, recognize and maintain certification, and successfully transition into the civilian NDT/NDI workforce.
The Women in NDT Committee is a network of people in NDT that empowers mentoring, exchanging experiences, building confidence, knowledge, professional development and skills to encourage the success of women in NDT. They create awareness of the NDT field to women of all ages, promoting ASNT membership and utilizes the benefits of the Society.
The Regional Directors Division coordinates Council and Society approved programs with Section leadership, monitors status of Section activities, assists Section leaders in the execution of their duties as appropriate, and represents Section leaders in Council matters. The members of the Regional Directors Division are all active Regional Directors.
The Section Management Division’s purpose is to formulate and develop Section Leadership Manuals and Speaker’s Directory, develop Section leadership training programs, review charter application and/or revocation recommendations and represent all Sections in Council matters.
