The photos must be 300 dpi or better and shot originally in color. Contributors are also required to give ASNT copyright to publish the photographs and will be given credit in the edition.

Subjects desired include techniques, equipment, indications, components, and sets showing a choice or process.

More detail information and an online submission form can be found at www.asnt.org/photorequests.

ASNT's Nondestructive Testing Handbook series serves as the definitive treatment of NDT technology. ASNT volunteers began work on the Nondestructive Testing Handbook in 1944. Tens of thousands of copies have been printed and the series is beginning its fourth edition.  The NDT Handbook covers all major methods of nondestructive testing, each major method in its own volume.

The American Society for Nondestructive Testing, based in Columbus, Ohio, is an international technical society with over 15,000 members that provides a forum for exchange of NDT technical information; NDT educational materials and programs; and standards and services for the qualification and certification of NDT personnel. ASNT exists to create a safer world by promoting the profession and technologies of nondestructive testing.
