Connecting Research, Shaping the Future

Registration and Call for Abstracts Opens 1 November 2026

Advancing Innovation in Nondestructive Evaluation

Every year, the ASNT Research Symposium brings together the people pushing NDE forward. Researchers, educators, students, and practitioners arrive from around the world to exchange ideas, showcase their latest findings, and explore emerging technologies redefining the field.

In 2027, we join forces with the Annual Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation (QNDE) — a premier conference organized by ASME. For more than 50 years, QNDE has been a leading international forum for advancing NDE science, covering ultrasonics, eddy currents, X-ray, thermography, and other measurement technologies used to characterize materials and detect defects.

Bringing both events together connects attendees with a broader global research community, expands the technical program, and opens new doors for collaboration across academia and industry.

Join us for technical presentations, interactive poster sessions, and conversations that go beyond the podium — focused on real challenges, real opportunities, and the collective work of shaping what's next.
