Call for Speakers: ASNT’s 2026 Research Symposium Is Open

Join the world’s leading gathering for nondestructive evaluation research and share your insights with a global audience.

Submit a Paper/Poster

ASNT invites researchers, educators, and industry professionals worldwide to submit papers for presentation at the 2026 ASNT Research Symposium—the premier forum for discoveries and technologies shaping the future of nondestructive evaluation.

Whether your work advances cutting-edge techniques, strengthens safety and reliability, or bridges research and real-world application, we welcome your submission and your voice in the global NDE dialogue.

*Acceptances will be notified on a rolling basis, particularly for international participants requiring a visa. If you require a visa, please indicate this during submission; ASNT will provide an acceptance decision within two weeks of a completed submission.

Important Dates

Submission Deadline: 27 February 2026
Acceptance Notification: 27 March 2026*

Submission and Selection Process

The Symposium uses a single submission process for all paper proposals. Papers may be delivered as oral presentations and/or selected for the Poster Session based on review outcomes and program needs.

Submissions must include a minimum 300-word abstract. Submitting authors have the option to submit a two to four page proceedings paper to be considered for presentation.

Accepted authors agree to register for and attend the Symposium and present as scheduled. Funding for registration, travel, and accommodations must be obtained independently of ASNT. Full symposium registration by the primary author is required for publishing.

Poster Submissions

Posters are a core part of the ASNT Research Symposium, and poster and oral papers follow the same peer-review process.

During paper submission, presenters may opt to have their work considered for the Poster Session as well. Poster space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis based on review results. Posters must be authored by the presenting author (co-authors welcome), and the presenting author must have completed the primary research.
