Volunteer Frequently Asked Questions

Any person that wants to take an active role in the conference is eligible to serve as an ASNT Event Ambassador – you do not need to be an ASNT Member to participate.

ASNT Event Ambassadors receive a complimentary conference registration (does not include ancillary event tickets – can be purchased separately). Onsite ASNT Event Ambassadors will also be provided with a complimentary t-shirt, which must be worn during hours of ASNT Event Ambassador service at the conference.

The ASNT Event Ambassador application process requires candidates to select dates/times that best fit their respective schedules. However, the conference team reserves the right to change assignment dates or times. 

Onsite ASNT Event Ambassador positions are filled on a first-come, first-assigned basis. Once the positions are full, applicants will be put onto a waitlist. 

ASNT Event Ambassadors will be notified via email of their status after a review of their application, on a rolling basis. Be sure to verify your correct email address before submitting your application.

ASNT Event Ambassadors are asked to notify the ASNT Conference Department via email at conferences@asnt.org within 24-hours of ASNT Event Ambassador service assignment if they are unable to report for, or perform, their assigned duties. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of one's complimentary registration and may also result in being billed for any days of Conference attendance.
