A futuristic drone encased in a spherical wireframe emits a bright red laser against a dark background.

MFE Inspection Solutions and ASNT are hosting a free, educational lunch-and-learn designed especially for ultrasonic testing (UT) technicians and professionals—whether you're already working in UT or looking to grow your skills in this exciting field!

The event will focus on exploring emerging technologies in the UT field, with a specific emphasis on how advanced tools, such as the Elios 3 indoor drone equipped for UT thickness measurements, can be used to optimize existing inspection workflows and work in conjunction with traditional UT methods rather than replace them.

Live Demonstrations

During the event, MFE and ASNT will conduct live demonstrations showcasing:

  • The ease of flight and maneuverability of the Elios 3 in confined or difficult-to-access environments

  • The drone’s ability to collect ultrasonic thickness readings

  • UT calibration demonstrations using calibration blocks, providing attendees with practical exposure to core UT principles

A drone with a protective cage is flying near the opening of a large industrial tank for inspection purposes.

These demonstrations will provide a sneak peek into the engaging, hands-on learning experience offered in ASNT’s UT Level II Limited course and MFE’s UT AIIM Training course for the Elios 3. Plus, we’re excited to show how innovative new tools are expanding possibilities in ultrasonic testing!

Food will be provided, and the event is offered at no cost to attendees. Registration is required.
